The collaboration with Volkswagen Transportbilar started when they gave us an offer in December, 2013. Volkswagen contacted us as soon as they learned about MODECO. They wanted us to make an exclusive gift reflecting our concept for a Volks Wagen group conference in Poland.

We contacted them right away at the beginning of 2014. After we discussed the design, a clutch bag made of car seat-belts that were going to be abandoned was released in spring, 2014. There is a logo of a Kombi van in the middle, and a double name that expresses ecology collaboration by the two companies inside in English. A Japanese local brand and a German large corporation aiming for ecology united.
