Collaborating on up-cycling design with public sector

This firefighter’s uniform collection started as the new design line born of collaboration with Fire Department City of Nagoya in 2013. This was the world’s first joint up-cycle design effort of the public (city) and private (fashion brand) sectors.
This sustainable cooperation encourages reducing public industrial waste as well as promoting public sector’s approach in environmental friendliness.
Other three cities have recently announced to join the collaboration in 2016. Firefighter’s uniforms have different designs and colors depending on each city therefore more unique selections are expected to be launched.
